I purchased this stock for a Mossberg 500 for HD. It fits great and was a joy to shoot. I would definitely go this route again. Just a small caution; the 5/6″-18×11/2″ Socket Head Machine Screw (SHMS) that ATI includes for the Mossberg is too short in my opinion. The stock bolt that comes with the Mossberg gun butt protrudes more than 3/8″ (including two washers) beyond the surface that mates to the metal gun action. Using the supplied two washers from ATI, their SHMS protrudes just over 1/8″. I purchased a 2″ SHMC and ground it down to the same protrusion length as the Mossberg screw. Even a 13/4″ long SHMS would be adequate but the one ATI supplies is dangerously short in IMHO, otherwise a great product.

Easy to install on my 590A1, took less than 5 minutes to fit correctly. Added the shell holder and it looks great. Delivery was fast and was happy with the purchase!

I bought this stock directly from ATI in December to use for practice firing of my Mossberg while still enabling good in-home concealment, replacing the pistol grip that came with the gun. Good quality and thorough instructions are reasons to buy “made in USA”. The front of the pistol grip had minor parting-line mismatch / flash which was easily cleaned with emery cloth. Overwhelming order volume at ATI in December gave some frustration in getting order status. The sense is that ATI is not set up for high volume direct sales.
