It’s plastic, but functional. Using it for a flashlight on the barrel of my Stevens pistol-grip home shotgun. If it moves under recoil, then I twist it back. Previously had a quick-release aluminum clamp for this gun, and it loosened too much, then the compression pads cracked when I reinstalled it, so a soft touch may be better.

I also ordered a new grip and was sent the correct grip but in the wrong color. i emailed customer service and received in immediate response with an apology. i received the correct grip and return label in less than a week. couldn’t be happier with the way ATI handled things!!
