Exactly what I was looking for.

I recently purchased the 6″ lower picatinny rail and the forward pistol grip from ATI to go with the Strikeforce folding stock on my mini-14 and I could not be happier. The Strikeforce stock is solidly built and feels comfortable in your hands with the folding stock making it easier to store, the 6″ aluminum rail is sturdy and mounts with little effort at all, and the forward pistol grip (although not the best on the market) is perfect for my rifle’s stock and looks excellent as well as being functional.
Normally I don’t write internet reviews unless something is wrong. When I order a product online I expect it to arrive in a timely fashion, and in new condition so if/when it does that is usually the last time I think about the company who sent it. When things go right I never really see the need to point out to people that it’s business is usual. However, my recent interactions with ATI’s customer service has brought me here to point out a company that has gone above and beyond for no reason other than stellar service.
I recently purchased a used Ruger mini-14 tactical with the factory ATI strikeforce stock. While installing my lower 6″ rail I saw on youtube videos that the Strikeforce stock comes new with these niftly little plugs to cover the screw holes for the stock’s extra rails if/when you want to remove them. Since I wasn’t putting that many accessories on the rifle I really wanted to remove and plug the extra locations so I’d have less potential snags. These plastic plugs can not be purchased online… anywhere, I looked: not even ATI offers them on their site. I decided to send ATI customer service and e-mail and ask if I could buy them from them direct and included my order number for my forward pistol grip in hopes they could just throw them in the same box and I could avoid the $5 flat shipping fee. Sadly I did not get my request sent in time for that to happen however the day after the grip shipped I received an e-mail from Troy Droese at ATI apologizing for the delay in response (a whole 48 hours) and letting me know if I told him the color of my stock he would have some sent to me right away. I offered to pay for them and/or shipping and handling but the only response I got to that was the delivery of my new plugs in the mail 3 days later, completely free of charge.
As I said in the beginning: couldn’t be happier. I rated them 5 stars because 6 stars wasn’t an option.

This pic rail is excellent quality! It it’s nicely with the ATI stock I purchased. Great job ATI!
