Note: Mossberg forends require a 6 3/4″ slide action tube, Maverick shotguns will also require the addition of a Mossberg 6 3/4″ slide action tube.
*The forend included in this package is compatible with: (1) Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend, any Mossberg Shotgun newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend. (2) Winchester Forend Tubes with a Minimum Length of 6 ¼ Inches are Required for use of this Product.

It’s a nice forend for Winchester SXP Defender. Customer service at ATI is very reponsive, too. I installed heatshield as well. The heatshield does get in the way of sliding the action ever so slightly but this doesn’t seem to be due to the fault of ATI. I just need to adjust the heatshield a bit. Overall, the forend is very good. Feels great and secure on hand. If there is a complaint, adding all the accessories adds weight to the shotgun. I gave ATI’s heashield, foreend and the stock. They all look and feel great. On a side note, one person mentioned the need of a spacer for installing this forend for SXP Defender. I did not run into this issue at all.
