I personally like this grip, it’s good it’s solid. There is a gap on the back strap under the hammer but doesn’t interfere with my personal agenda. Personally I think ATI should include a pin with the grip but it’s all good. Definitely a good buy in my book. I bought 2 for my Taurus 85 and Taurus 605.

Put it on a Tarus 605. Took some time a real tight fit but it worked. My old grip had a pin not a screw which I had to cut down to fit into the x2

Found the X2 grip to significantly reduce felt recoil vs. the OEM grip. Also, the size and shape fits my hand better. The price was reasonable. Delivery was fast. Only problem I had was fitting the 6 inserts which didn’t seem to want to go in. Overall happy with the purchase. Thanks, ATI!

Got my ATI scorpion Taurus small frame X2 grips today picked them up from my P.O. box went to the house opened the box followed the instructions and now I have a even better grip than the hogue grip I installed just a month ago. While the hogue gave me a place to put my pinky finger (3 finger grip VS the 2 finger stock grip) they didn’t do much in addressing the painful recoil of firing off 357 Magnums . The X2 grips offer a wider grip that has a backstrap that is similar to a 1911 providing support and more area in the web of the hand between the thumb and index finger. The grip has a tacky feel that inspires confidence. Installation was a snap and it’s all good!!!

It will fit a 2018 605 with some mod, the pin you pull out you put back in once the grip is off and cut or grind about 1/4 inch off the pin than center the pin and install as per instructions. Hope this helps!

I gave it a 4-star rating and I don’t know if I should have it was very hard to get on and I’m not a wimp I’ve been a mechanic for a long time it doesn’t fit properly but it fits and I have to grind the hammer a little because it’s hitting the rubber of the handle I like the way it looks I like the way it fits but again it doesn’t fit exactly like it should I hope this helps
